Supervision & Programme Management support under North Karnataka Urban Sector Investment Programme (NKUSIP) - Kalaburgi Division (Kalaburgi, Bidar, Basavakalyan, Shahpur and Yadgir Towns).

This pertains to 24x7 Water Supply and Under Ground Drainage infrastructure Projects being implemented with the financial assistance from Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project duration was 12 months starting August 2017. The Programme Management Unit (PMU) supported the Implementing Agencies (IAs) including local Government Bodies and State Line Departments, through the Divisional Offices (DOs). The objective of the project is to facilitate efficient Monitoring and Implementation of urban infrastructure development programmes being implemented in the project towns. Services provided comprise i) contract management; ii) Quality assurance by means of proof-check of designs, joint measurement; iii) Support for processing variations; iv) Physical & Financial monitoring & reporting; v) Certification of the works by the contractors and vi) extension proposals of the contractors when necessary.
