Third Party Evaluation of Ganitha Klika Andolana (Math Programme) in Hyderabad Karnataka districts.

The evaluation is funded by DSERT, Bangalore. The evaluation covered 600 schools and about 24000 children in three districts namely Bellary, Koppal and Raichur in Karnataka state. A pre-test in October 2015 and a post-test in March 2016 were conducted in the sample schools. Four sets of maths question papers for class 4 and class 5 in Kannada, Urdu, Marathi were prepared for use in conducting these examinations. Analysis of achievement levels of students in maths using single and multivariate analysis (PTR, SCR etc.,), Item Response Theory (IRT), equity dimensions etc. was done.
