Technical Support for Implementation of Green Me Plan 2018-19.

As a part of the ‘Green-Me’ CSR intervention Toyota has established an ‘Éco-zone’ within its manufacturing facility premises. Provision for rainwater harvesting; generating solar energy; demonstration of gobar gas, paper from solid waste etc. are made in the Eco-zone. Developing a wide range of flora and fauna. The eco-zone is used to improve awareness among school children and other students about environment management.

Also efforts were undertaken to develop some schools in Ramanagara district as ‘Eco-model Schools’. Pilot projects related to water conservation; use of alternative sources of energy; rain-water harvesting; kitchen gardens and bio-composting of kitchen and other bio-degradable solid and liquid waste have been identified for providing technical and financial support under CSR head of the company.
