Strengthening Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) Support System at State & District Levels in Uttarakhand.

Duration of the project was THREE months starting March 2010. The scope of the work is as follows: a) conduct a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) of the SARC and DARC staff and propose a road map for building their capacity to tackle technical & managerial issues, according to their identified roles; (b) organize training programmes for the functionaries of SARC and ASHA support system at district level on issues identified through the TNA; and (c) develop efficient ASHA support system for mentoring and supportive supervision at all levels. The consultancy covers six project districts, namely, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Tehri, Nainital and Almora.
