Promoting Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) under TSSM Project in Madhya Pradesh.

The project is funded by the Water and Sanitation Programme (WSP), The World Bank, New Delhi. The duration of the project was 12 months starting November 2009. The scope of work includes providing support to the CLTS process at the state, divisional and district levels; designing various orientation and capacity-building activities necessary for developing rural sanitation strategies in tune with CLTS and implementing them in a sustainable manner. Support was provided in designing and production of IEC materials using different media; Facilitated organizing of IEC interventions and conducted capacity building programmes for promoting CLTS at state, district, block and GP level staff and functionaries, including Training of Trainers.
