Evaluation of Ksheerbhagya Scheme (KBS) of Women and Child Welfare Department and Karnataka Milk Federation.

The study was funded by the Karnataka Evaluation Authority. The study was of FIVE months duration starting from September 2014. Survey of 56 schools and 56 anganwadi centres in 24 villages, 16 talukas HQ and 8 districts Headquarters spread across 4 revenue regions of the state. The evaluation examined the process of implementation of KBS; assessed the effect of KBS on children nutrition status and afforded suggestions for improvement of KBS. The recommendations of the study have been accepted by the Government of Karnataka.
